Who are we?
- Our program is based on the therapeutic community method of treatment. The therapeutic community represents a highly structured environment with defined boundaries, both moral and ethical. It employs community and peer-imposed challenges, as well as earned advancement of status and privileges as part of the recovery and growth process. Being a part of something greater than oneself is an especially important factor in facilitating positive growth. Our participants are culturally, economically, and unique, which is essential in the therapeutic community treatment process. Each person — no matter their race, ethnicity, gender, or economic background — brings their own unique value and experience to the Village.
